Home Watch in Lyme, CT
Tide & Timber looks after second and seasonal homes in Lyme, CT while owners are away— for a season, a month, or a few weeks. Our team is based in Stonington, and we serve the town from Hamburg Cove to Hadlyme.
Coves, Woods, and Quiet Roads
Lyme is a quiet town on the east side of the Connecticut River, with Hamburg Cove at its heart and houses tucked into the woods and along the river and its coves. About 15 percent of its 1,220 housing units were vacant at the 2020 census, a count that includes seasonal homes.
Houses here take wind, rain, and falling limbs from the trees around them, plus damp near the cove and river. Our team handles the seasonal opening and closing, visits on a schedule through the off-season, and after a storm sends photos of the roof, gutters, and grounds, so you know what the weather left behind.
