Home Watch in Mystic, CT
Tide & Timber looks after second and seasonal homes in Mystic, CT while owners are away— for a season, a month, or a few weeks. Our team is based in Stonington, and part of Mystic is in the town.
Houses on the River
Mystic sits on both banks of the Mystic River, where it runs out to the Sound, and is split between Groton and Stonington. Downtown wraps around the river, with its drawbridge, shops, and waterfront drawing visitors all summer, and the houses run from shingled homes on the streets of West Mystic to places right on the water. Downtown is low-lying, so heavy rain on a high tide can put water over the streets.
We look after Mystic houses on both sides of the river, whichever town they’re in. After heavy rain or a nor’easter the basement is one of the first places we look, and the photos go straight into your report. Through the quieter months we visit on a schedule, so a house that sits empty doesn’t sit unchecked.
