Home Watch in Jamestown, RI
Tide & Timber looks after second and seasonal homes in Jamestown, RI while owners are away— for a season, a month, or a few weeks. Our team is based in Stonington, and we serve the whole island, from the harbor to Beavertail.
An Island in the Bay
Jamestown sits almost entirely on Conanicut Island in Narragansett Bay, reached from the mainland by the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge and from Newport by the Claiborne Pell Bridge. About 21 percent of its 3,122 housing units were vacant at the 2020 census, a count that includes seasonal homes.
An island house takes wind from every direction, along with the salt air and damp that come with it. Our team handles the seasonal opening and closing, visits on a schedule through the off-season, and after a storm sends photos of the roof, siding, and drainage, so you know what the weather left behind.
